Milano Cadorna is one of the railway stations closest to Milan inner city. It is situated just south of Sforza Castle and next to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna, the square between Via Giovanni Boccaccio and Foro Buonaparte. Cadorna is about 10-15 minutes walk or 3 metro stops from Duomo, Milano Cathedral – the unofficial central point of the city centre.

Cadorna is the terminus of Milan S-train lines S3 and S4 and also a metro station (lines M1 and M2). There are also trams at Piazzale Luigi Cadorna (the stop’s name is Cadorna Stz Nord).

The number of hotels immediately next to Cadorna Railway Station is lower compared to other places in the inner city, because the station is near the western end of the city centre. There are several 3 star and 4 star hotels in the streets near Cadorna, especially the streets to the east (to Cairoli Station). The widest selection of accommodation is available in the central parts of the inner city, around Cordusio or Duomo (2 and 3 stops from Cadorna, respectively).
